Maintaining & Caring for Your Braiding Hair
You need to clean your crochet braids to remove any buildup and dirt which may be in the hair. Caring for your crochet braids is easy. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1: Fill a large spray bottle with water and mild shampoo
Step 2: Completely saturate the hair with the shampoo and water mixture
Step 3: Just gently squeeze the braids and the natural surfactants in the shampoo will remove the dirt and residue.
**Note: Do not rub or massage as this will cause hair to tangle
Step 3: Rinse thoroughly and repeat steps 2 to 3 if necessary
Step 4: Fill large spray bottle with conditioner and water mixture
Step 5: Completely saturate hair with conditioner and water mixture
Step 6: Let conditioner sit for 2 to 3 minutes
Step 7: Rinse thoroughly and pat dry
Step 8: Spray a light leave in conditioner in the hair and let air dry
